Groove Me as performed by King Floyd (1970)

This million seller was a b-side that New Orleans born Floyd had written five years earlier than it’s release. The DJs started to play it and the song entered the R&B charts on October 10, 1970 and lasted an incredible 22 weeks. Then it entered the Pop charts a on October 24, 1970 and lasted 20 weeks reaching #6.

Don’t you just love it?

Thanks for dropping by.

P.S. I would not have selected these pics to go with the above slideshow, but I do appreciate and sincerely thank the person who did this. Therefore one of my New Year’s Resolutions will be to learn to make a music video for blog and You Tube posting. I have no clues where to begin. So if anyone wants to send me the “Cliff Notes” version I would appreciate it very much.
